Jimmy met Justin in 2002 at the VMA show. They were both at a turning point in their careers. Justin was starting his career as a solo singer, and Jimmy was hosting the show. The two met backstage and immediately hit it off. Both of them were nervous that night. They ended up having a great night, and realized that they were good luck for each other.
The next year, Jimmy invited Justin to join him on SNL, where they did a hilarious sketch called The Barry Gibb talk show. The show was a hit. They actually did a follow up to the episode in 2005. The two have been inseparable ever since!
